Agency GWL has an immediate opening for a full-time Account Manager. We’re looking for a highly motivated, customer service-driven and strategic individual whose attention to detail and enthusiasm will help drive client success.
The Account Manager will be responsible for a set of accounts, all primary client communication within those accounts, campaign organization and planning, budget development and billing, and interoffice communication between client and all aspects of the account. Position will also include ability to grow client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and provide world-class customer service
- Plan projects from start to finish (including building estimates, working with internal team to hit all targets and meet all deadlines)
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date client data and records.
- Prepare weekly and semi-weekly project progress reports for client purposes
- Coordinate internal and external schedules and meetings
- Occasional travel required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Working knowledge of research methods
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure and time constraints
- BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Marketing, Advertising/PR or related field
- Possessing knowledge of sales, marketing, and advertising principles
Preferred Qualifications but Not Required
- Minimum 5 years agency experience
- Media buying knowledge preferred
- Knowledge and experience with social and digital media is preferred
For this role, you should be a genuine self-starter, well-organized, and adaptable. Attention to detail and communication skills are both crucial. If you have experience in project management and/or accounts service, with a background in advertising, we’d like to meet you.
